NOVI, MI – She has never had a brand new car before, making this Educator of the Year surprise even more sweet.
Rebekah Schulze teaches German and U.S. History at Novi Middle School.
Originally from the Denver, Colorado area, Schulze taught English in Germany before moving to Michigan in 2016.
She was the Novi Middle School building substitute while she was getting certified to be a teacher in Michigan. She was then hired as a teacher at the school in 2020, right during COVID.
Now, she is Educator of the Year at the middle school level.
