The Detroit Golf Club was the setting for the Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational 2023. The annual event was hosted by Beaumont Health Foundation and the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation on Aug. 28, and raised more than $1 million in sponsorship support before the event and secured additional funds during the tournament through a live auction and on-site donations. The event supports the Children’s Miracle Network at Beaumont Children’s and the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation. Celebrity golfers included Mark Wahlberg, Donnie Wahlberg, Kevin James, Kevin Chapman, Kevin Dillon, and Hisham Tawfiq, as well as sports stars including boxing champions Hilmer Kenty and Milton McCrory of Detroit’s Kronk Gym; NFL greats O.J. Anderson, Calvin Johnson, and Rob Sims; and NBA stars James “Buddha” Edwards (formerly of the Detroit Pistons), Metta Sandiford-Artest, Ron Harper, and more.
